Philanthropy
Most of the firm's attorneys are involved in the pro bono representation of indigent parties in New Jersey. These cases often involve domestic, family and criminal matters for members of the community who cannot otherwise afford legal representation. The firm's attorneys are also involved in activities in support of the missions of their local churches and schools. These include organizing various fund-raising activities, teaching classes, and participation and oversight of scouting events.
Finally, a number of the firm's attorneys spend much of their free time in support of humane organizations, from fund raising, food collections, and legal work for animal rescue groups throughout the East Coast of the United States. The focus of these efforts is rescuing dogs and cats from "high kill" shelters in the Southeast, and transporting them to places where they are no longer in danger of being euthanized; in fact, most are quickly adopted into loving homes. Above are "Joey" and "Buster", who are just two of the hundreds of dogs Law Wright has rescued through his efforts with Freedom Train Animal Rescue Transports and Animal Rescue Flights. Buster and Joey were adopted by Sheila O'Donnell and have quickly become a central part of her family, as well as a valued members of the firm. |
